Services · Backup & disaster recovery

Your backup is only as good as the restore.

Most businesses have something backing up somewhere. Very few have ever actually tested it. We set up automated backups, store them securely off-site, and restore from them every month - all managed by the same Gold Coast and Toowoomba team that supports the rest of your environment.

What we cover

Backup that's designed to come back.

Not just a job running in the background. A full backup and recovery posture, sized for your data and tested so you know exactly what recovery looks like.

- 01
Automated daily backups
Servers, Microsoft 365 data, and line-of-business applications backed up nightly with alerting on failures.
- 02
Encrypted, on-site & off-site
Primary backups held locally for fast restore; off-site replication for disaster scenarios. Every backup encrypted at rest and in transit.
- 03
Tested restores
Monthly test restores against real workloads. We don't trust the success log; we prove the data comes back.
- 04
Microsoft 365 backup
Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams. Microsoft's retention is not a backup; third-party backup for your tenant closes that gap.
- 05
Documented recovery plans
Stated RTOs and RPOs, runbooks for the major scenarios, and named owners for each step. No figuring it out at 2 am.
- 06
Retention & compliance
Retention windows configured to your industry's record-keeping obligations, seven years for financial records, longer for legal or clinical data. Auditable timeline of every backup kept.
01 · RTO & RPO stated up front

You know before it matters, not after.

Recovery Time Objective: how long it takes to get a system back up. Recovery Point Objective: how much data you might lose.

We set these numbers up front, design the backup to meet them, and state them in your disaster-recovery plan. When something happens, the recovery matches the contract.

02 · Aligned to ransomware reality

Immutable, air-gapped where it counts.

Modern ransomware targets backups first.

We design for that: immutable backup copies that can't be modified or deleted by a compromised account, and air-gapped copies outside the attacker's domain. Backup strategies from a decade ago aren't enough against current ransomware.

03 · Restored monthly, reviewed with leadership

The only backup we trust is one we've seen come back.

Monthly test restores against a real workload prove the backup works.

Strategic reviews with your leadership cover what's changed, whether the plan still matches the business, and any new workloads to cover. Nothing drifts silently.

Never actually tested a restore?

That's the one we want to talk about.
